FRAMING OPTIONS |
Frameless, timber or metal frames.
If used in frameless situations, the glass is usually laminated to a mirror so that the
'Blum' fittings can be adhered. Alternatively, the Blum cover plate can be adhered prior to coating and then the Blum hinges are visible through the glass. |
PROCESSING |
Colourcoted glass can be drilled, bevelled & edge polished (4, 5 & 6mm only), but drilling holes in glass, unless it
is toughened, will weaken the glass considerably. |
LEAD TIME |
2 weeks. |
CLEANING |
Abrasive cleaners must be avoided. Several 'streak free' glass cleaning solutions & sprays are readily available. Soft
cloths and rags must only be used. Steel wool and scourers must never be used. |
INSTALLATION |
Only non-acidic silicones and adhesives are permitted. |
